En Memoria De Franklin D. Mickens

Remembering our friend and colleague Franklin D. Mickens

On April 8, 2020 we lost our beloved staff member and friend, Coach Frank due to COVID-19. The impact Coach Frank  made on our youth and our Club will live on forever. Coach Frank was a respected colleague, a powerful mentor and true friend to all who knew him. He joined our staff in 2009 and it wasn’t long before he became so much more than a staff and Coach, taking on the role of father figure, teacher and trusted advisor to the hundreds of teens who needed his guidance and support. No matter what Coach Frank always made time for each and every member and alumni. Coach Frank will forever be missed. We are so very fortunate for his involvement in our Club and our community, and for the many lives he changed.

Words cannot express the loss and devastation that comes from losing a family member, and for us all, Coach Frank was family. We ask that you join us in celebrating and remembering the impact Coach Frank had on each of us.
